Lokka lockers
« on: December 27, 2014, 06:49:45 PM »
http://lokka.com/site/

check em out. just wondering on opinions here. anyone run them? opinions? as far as i can see, its basically an AUSSIE with a different name; seems like its what all the australian guys run.

i ask because........ 450$ for a rear 8.8 and front D30 to the door is hard to argue with, considering a locrite is like 400$ for an 8.8.

plus i can be like, 'ya dawg, i run lokka's yo' and sound cool. or something like that

cheers

As per the website:

"Aussie Locker™ ?

What is the history of LOKKA?
LOKKA has been manufactured in Australia since the late 1990’s and has been sold globally under its own brand name or re-branded for local resellers.
From 2003 to 2012 it was best known in North America under the brand name Aussie Locker™*"

just the 8.8 rear for now.  it was 249 USD shipped.  it literally came from Australia, it was 175$ AUS dollars. all said and done it was 305$ and i think that included brokerage.  i have to double check my credit card to make sure they didn't ding me again, but i'm pretty sure thats what it was all in.
i'm assuming the C8.25 diffs will cost the same.  not as dirt cheap as they are in the US, but easily saved 150$.

So these are worth the money? Looking to put a Eaton E-locker in the front and was going to go with a detroit tru trac in the rear but if this Lokka locker works well for it's price i'm in. (2002 TJ)
