Alright, sorry to clog up this thread with all the radio talk. It's a huge rabbit hole once you start looking at HAM, GMRS etc.

Costco in Balzac also only sells the Motorola T471 (not a T473, I was mistaken) for $100. They are at the front of the store by the printer ink refills. They are $115 if you go through the website https://www.costco.ca/motorola-t471-2-way-radio%2c-3-pack.product.100752353.html

I ended up going to Bass Pro at Cross Iron mall and they had a bunch of different Midland ones. The best deal seemed to be the one mentioned above the T77VP5. It comes with the carry case and a car charger and some ear pieces. There are a couple that are nearly the same, the only difference being no case and one is black (T71VP3) and one is Camo (T75VP3). The camo one has a whisper/vibrate feature and make some animal calls.

Anyway, I bought the T77VP5 combo pack with the case for $130, it was cheaper than the others too. They had 6 of these ones left. They are right when you walk in, over by the fish finders, first isle. They had several of the other modes and some cheaper ones too.

Set your radio to channel 15 that's what the CJA main channel is.

I won't make this trail ride unfortunately

Meetup is at the west location  8)
