Hey! nice pics buddy! Is that my old built Yj in the background? Can't tell if that is her or not.
Not sure man....as we got there, it was getting pretty dark - by the time I looked the girl over, the next look I took at that rig all I could see was a boxy shape. Sounds like he has some cool toys around there, though.
Glad you figured out the winch, as I had the same problem about a year ago! And of coarse forgat to tell ya!
I have honestly never used a winch, which actually ended up helping. The guys weren't looking for a switch on the back of it, and when I saw it there, I figured if it was supposed to be on, then of course the guys would have switched it on. So instead of looking like and arse and asking, I just watched them try to figure it out and make a connection.....I finally asked if the switch was on, and of course they gave me blank stare....turned switch, and zing zing.
That rig doesn't need anything else other than the swap and a little loving body touch ups, maybe some 33's too!
Did anyone slide by my place and get the soft top/doors?
You got my number if ya need to call while I am away.
Cheers, Craig
The only thing that seems to be missing is the winch controller itself....Jennaya brought the soft top and doors....once the swap is done it will be a cold ride to my father-in-law's heated garage in Red Deer (you get major jeep points for driving a modified Willys with the windshield down on a cold day with no top, right?), and then I'll get the top on it. Hopefully it's not going to be a huge mess getting all the little switches and gadgets working on it, as there are all kinds of toys to play with on this baby.
I can't remember if I told you or not, but one of the Eco guys was selling some compressors, and one of them was from this rig - he's currently holding it for me.
