is your 08" grand bone stock?

your front airdam might become a snow plow in some places!!!!!!!!

just a disclamer now:  the potential for body damage is always present, and this is even moreso on today's newer vehicles.  With bigger bumpers built for wind resistance, lower ground clearance etc, anything can happen.

we've had some issues with 'trail rated' 08' Liberties before................  just an FYI ;)

but if you're installing a locker in your 08' i'm sure you're fine with that ;)

Hmmmm... that Rubicon Trail that they use to rate Jeeps must be like a parking lot.... alll smooth with a bump or 2 in it.....

And before y'all jump down my throat... YES I KNOW WHAT THE RUBICON TRAIL IS, AND LOOKS LIKE.....
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.
Here's your cup of STFU... ENJOY!

I've posted up an "attendance" list and some quick plans for the run in post #1 of this thread instead of having folks need to look through it. I've capped the run at the current numbers.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

whats the "winter loop"? Going in by all the logging, past the bog, to four corners?

North from the four corners, and there's a "loop-like" shape up between Margaret lake and Cabin Creek. If you find the "winter trails" map somewhere on here, you can take a look at it and see. It's a loop that's only open to Jeeps in the winter.

140-167-165-163-145-141-139 is on do-able loop.

167-169-171-173-175-161 is another do-able loop.

Depending on conditions, a figure-8 can be fun too.

Was looking forward to the falls, but this could be interesting too.

Thanks for that.

Those groups are not set in stone...I just wanted to get a head start on organizing so that we didn't see twenty two jeeps going to margaret lake and two going to the falls. I put your name on the list for the "winter loop" because I've seen your rig, and Kev's group will be tackling more challenging terrain than what my group will be...but we may be able to arrange a swap with one of the more more capable vehicles from the group that I will be leading.

Thanks for all the info posted here guys. My 08 has slightly oversized brand new studded winters and factory town points front and rear. I have just picked up some good quality recovery gear, tire repair kit and Warn compressor from Modern this week. My airdam has always been an issue (I tried the articulation ramp this summer at the Boomtown this summer), so I have removed it for any wheeling excursions.

I am slowly getting this rig trail ready with a lift, Auburn locker, 32s, full skid plates and ARB bumper and winch. I am looking forward to trying my rig out this weekend and then make comparisons based on all the changes. I am going to so this all slowly so I can keep my wife and the pocket book happy!
