i run the MTZs as does Heeps.

good tires.  almost as good as Thornbirds.......... ;)

i would have said Toyo as everyone else ( i owned 37x14.50) until i put some Nitto (Toyo owns the company) Trail Grappler MT.
Better than Toyo. 8)

i met some oil rig workers that always were Toyo fans. Switched to Nitto and never will buy Toyo again.

I only own 2 xj's and an mj. All p.o.s. but I'm cheap and grumpy. Dr. Tom has good advice,the nitto s are a great tire.

That is crazy!!!

The Toyos were run on my jeep that was wheeled. The Trail Grapplers are run on my truck which has pulled the travel trailer through a mud bog. More importantly is they have been down some very winter highways.
But, the OP probably cares more about how they wheel vs how safe is he going to be with his lil kid in the jeep onroad....
oh wait
But if we factor in the jeep equation, than i guess you need to factor in ONLY those jeeps that are very SIMILAR to the OP's jeeps...

So basically not many opinions are worth anything OP 8)

Sold this year
96 ZJ, 97 XJ, 00 XJ, 92 XJ , 99ZJ

In the past few years mostly XJ's and a few ZJ's not sure the total,... Many gave their life to make others move again

ha ha just read through the posts great opinions and thanks to all. looks like im going to lean towords the nittos or the toyo's. and just to derail my own thread again i have owned  3 xj's aand currently own a zj and a wj the boy will mostly be in the wj as its a stocker with no plans to be modded. it has 410,000 kms on it so once she goes it will be parts or barn burner. i saw an episode of duck dynasty's were they blew up an old chevy and a light bulb lite up above my head......whos got some land and the will to have some fun???? any ways thanks for the opinions guys.
