Dom, we also need someone to spend $500 from our club for this.
You and Bonnie did it last year, can you (meaning Bonnie mostly) do it again this year?

Sure we (Bonnie) can do it. No problem Al.  ;D

Hi Everyone,

I've not had the pleasure of ever doing this before.  I would like to participate if I can.  Is there anything I can do to help or do I just show up at Bowness Park?

Thanks,
Steve

If its okay with you guys, I got set up a poster at my work, hopefully some will help out. My dad also offered to ask his floor at work, which will also bring in some donations etc.
I also asked my classmates, but being broke college students, It will be minimal I believe, but its help.

Talked my boss and he and his wife will be donating a gift basket as a prize for the most or best decorated rig.

Big thanks to Good Earth Cafe and Bakery in Glenmore Landing for their generous donation.

What is everyone using for a donation bin?  Just a dressed up cardboard box or is there something more official?

I really want to participate in the Toy Run...however I am not a member also I have tried unsuccessfully to get donations (other then mine). Can I still participate?
It is open to EVERYONE!!!
Just bring your own donation to Bowness Park.

PS. i have not had a chance to get by Tower Chrysler. Do we have boxes that are decorated or is this something i need to provide Tower with?
Do we have posters available or do i just print the poster off of here in standard letter size?

As this was a last minute decision to get involved in putting the Toy Run on, we are left with very little time to organize Dealerships to get on board.
Has anyone else got a Dealership involved yet? How did you do it? Did you supply boxes, posters etc.
Please let me know.
i can certainly put up some posters at Tower but i think a donation box may be too late and organizing it may seem a bit unrealistic with the timeline.
Any help is appreciated.

i asked one of the guys i work with whom  also works as one of the head of security at the dome. he says the teddy bear toss the hitmen do is the 12th. but, the toys dont get delivered until later that day or even the next day. so that shouldnt be a problem. may want to confirm with the hospital all the same.

is there a preferance for toy type? specific ages? DVD's or books?    i just dont think sports equipment or non easily cleanable toys in a hospital enviroment would be a great idea?

i know all the offroaders will bring trucks like every year haha
