Talking to the wife about it...

I know that offroading does pose danger... but anybody have a guess as to the chances my 2008 Liberty (100% stock, with road rubber) will come back intact?

Folks have brought their Liberty's out in the past, and some body damage has resulted. An experienced driver might be able to avoid that...or maybe not. Some "Rocky Mountain Pinstriping" scratches in your clearcoat are pretty much certain.

If body damage isn't going to cause you too much grief, come on out - I'm certain that you'll enjoy yourself, and learn a lot about what your Jeep can do.

I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

you will definitely come back intact!

we had an 08' come out last year and i think he had a blast, however if i recall he did get some scratches and partially ripped a fender off.   his problems were the low hanging bumpers and small/crappy tires that don't stick out of the wheel well at all. therefore instead of his tires contacting things, his rubber wheel wells hit.  there were a bunch of people to help him/guide him through the obstacles though so damage should be minimal.

the first scratch is always the toughest :) :)

As Johnny stated there will be a bunch of trail guides out to help / guide vehicles through obstacles and it is our every intention to minimize any body damage as much as we can.  However, sometimes crap happens.

Also, if I remember the trail we did last year, there was minimal branches on the trail for pin striping.

I would love to get the WK out for its maiden voyage lol. I just had an OME lift, locker, skids and BFGs installed in the last 6 months but haven't really tried it out. I would like to put my name on the list for Sunday please. Thanks

I've been out to Mclean a couple times on Fisher East, and West and another unknown place. I have a stock '07 KJ with the standard tires, nothing fancy, but it does everything my friends stock TJ does with 31" Duratracs does, and outperforms my other bud's old Cherokee.... The biggest thing with my Liberty is the stupid ESP, even with it "off" it is still half on, I found through reading on other forums pulling the ABS fuse turns everything completely off, and from experience works wonders.
